LO RIDER - Frosty's Flake

These cute boots arrived yesterday as the massive snow/sleet storm was moving into our area. Today, I literally opened the box, put the Loon’rs on, and went straight outside to shovel some some paths for the dogs. It was still sleeting, and we had ~6” of snow and sleet on the ground, but my feet stayed dry, the boots were comfortable, and I didn’t slip once. These are fantastic boots in every way!

Aside from really standing out, these boots are great and deliver on their promise... Completely waterproof, pretty warm and decently comfortable (though I wouldn't walk too far with them on). Decent traction too, have put them through some snowstorms and ice and they seem to hold their grip. However, IMO the removable liner is one of the weakest features, when I had expected it to be a plus of Loon'r vs the competition. When trying to take off the boots the liner doesn't stay seated in the boot. So while they are really easy to put on, they are a pain to take off easily because you have to bend over and use your hands to keep the liner in the boot. And at this point the boots are usually soaking wet from snow/rain/mud and you're stuck doing this annoying dance to remove them in one piece and not get the liners or your feet soaked. I am going to try to figure out a DIY velcro situation to hold them in the boot until I want to remove them, but this could definitely be designed better out of the box.

I love them! Best boots I've ever owned! Get lots of compliments whenever I wear them too
