Tips for Choosing Your Size
- Use Your Usual Size: Look up your regular shoe size to find your match in the chart above. Loon’r boots are made to fit comfortably with a little extra room.
- Go Smaller on the Cusp: If your shoe size is at the top end of one range, we recommend going with the lower size range rather than sizing up. The liner will "pack out" slightly after initial use, so we often find it is ok if the boots are a little snug right out of the box (but not so snug it's uncomfortable!).
- Unisex Fit for All: Our boots are built to accommodate a variety of foot shapes, so whether you’re used to men’s or women’s sizes, you’ll find a fit that works.
FAQs About Sizing
-
How do Loon’r boots fit?
Loon’r boots generally fit true to size, with a touch of extra room to keep you comfortable and allow for easy on-and-off. -
Are the boots roomy enough for wide feet?
Absolutely! Our unisex sizing and slightly roomier fit are perfect for wider feet, so you can enjoy winter adventures without feeling squeezed. -
What if I’m between sizes?
We Suggest going with the lower size range. The liner will "pack out" slightly after initial use, so we often find it is ok if the boots are a little snug right out of the box (but not so snug it's uncomfortable!). -
Will the liner change over time?
Yes, the liner will often "pack out" slightly during use, particularly if you are on the "snug" end of boot fit. As you wear them, you should find that your feet have more room in the liners/boots.
Description
The Loon’r Lo Rider is the Hi Flyer’s shorter, sassier sibling. Just as tough, just as warm, and still wildly waterproof—but built for those who like to keep a slightly lower profile. Lightweight (just over 2 lbs per pair), cozy, and stupid easy to slip on and off, these boots don’t ask for much—just that you wear them everywhere.
Each pair comes equipped with a removable liner to keep things fresh, a cinchable drawcord cuff to lock out the crud, and an ABS toecap that shrugs off bumps, bruises, and anything muddy life throws your way. The max-traction rubber sole keeps you steady, while the EVA shell makes them feel like slippers disguised as boots.
Perfect for puddle-hopping, dog walking, yard storming, après-ing, and grocery grabbing. The Lo Rider is your everyday hero with a big personality and even bigger comfort. And yeah—the colors are loud. We meant that.

Awesome boot! Perfect for trudging around in snowy, icy and slushy conditions. The liners are super warm and breathable. Love that they are removable for easy drying and washing.
I love my boots, the color is beautiful, they are comfortable and warm. My only complaint is that I wish I would have gotten a half size smaller but I’m not even sure if they come in half sizes.
Great boot for snow or rain protection and are warm.
I purchased my size and the liner fit me, but the outer shell is huge. The boots are huge! However, like I said, they are very big, they’re a very uncomfortable boot, and are hard to walk in.
Well, a couple of eastern Colorado snowstorms and these most certainly make the grade for getting around. So light, warm and terrific traction! They are a modern and much better version of what we called "moon boots" back in the day. Absolutely love them!
