Most socks take the long way to your feet. Ours take a short one. Montana-grown merino, knit in Mount Airy, North Carolina, a town that was making socks before your grandpa's grandpa needed them. Full terry means every inch inside is a loop of cushion, like walking on a very small, very loyal sheep. No itch and no sweat, which is why it works in a boot in January and on a porch in June.

Terry is the loop knit that makes towels feel like towels. We ran it sole to cuff. Cushion under your heel, cloud around your calf, and enough loft to make thin dress socks file a complaint.
